I’d run along the lake, watch the sun come up over Lake Michigan which is spectacular and listen to music at the same time, and while you’re exhausted physically, you’ve also reached this “zen” state. So you’re totally centered and start the day in a really really good place.

Failure is ultimately what makes you who you are. You also find out a lot about the character of those around you. It’s easy to be a good person or a good worker or honest or trustworthy when things are going really well, but what happens when things get tough. I believe that’s when you find out what you’re made of and those around you are made of.
Great things can come when you’re out of your comfort zone. That’s where you find out what you’re made of. Ultimately that’s where the best things happen.

Mike Trevino Entrepreneur, Founder & CEO of Indigenous
Bio: Mr. Trevino is a serial entrepreneur and is currently founder and CEO of Indigenous Software, which provides a web based, fully integrated business operating platform for small businesses.
He is also an executive advisor with the Startup Tech Advisor Network (STAN), and he is founder and President of Enduragive, a 501(c3), that connects events, participants, employers, and non-profits through a philanthropic platform.
Mr. Trevino is also Non-Executive Director of SIME Diagnostics: a cloud based digital health & SaaS in vitro diagnostics platform.
Trevino was formerly CTO of NantWorks and General Manager of Vitality, Inc., and he served on the board of several portfolio companies.
Before joining NantWorks, Mr. Trevino was Senior Director of Strategic IP at Qualcomm. Trevino graduated from Cornell University with his Bachelor of Science degree and was a Cornell Tradition Fellow.
Vision, commitment, and endurance drive all of Mike’s endeavors—entrepreneurial, philanthropic, and physical.
He has competed in, won, and organized numerous events requiring world-class athleticism and focus, including a 275-mile nonstop run down the coast of California, the Badwater 135 Ultramarathon, and a clean-up expedition co-sponsored by the Chinese government up the north face of Mt. Everest.
He lives in Rancho Santa Fe, CA with his wife and three children.
